 Been busy
« Thread Started on Oct 27, 2008, 7:15pm »

Hi all,

I have been very busy.
As a result, I have got promotion at work after 10.5 years in this current post.
I will henceforth be a regional guy, covering stations in the whole of England and Wales from the borders of Scotland, all the way to half way down Wales and across to the east coast of Lincolnshire. A very responsible job and one that will do me well for a few more years hopefully.
Of course I shall still do Global work, but be responsible for giving this info to a whole new regional audience rather than for a handful of local stations.

New job starts 14th November.

Yours with good wishes and a smile.

Michael

8-) That's awesome news Michael! Wow! Congratulations!! You worked very, very hard to get this far. You'll be even busier, but I hope you can pop in now and then.

According to Wikipedia, November 1st is the first day of winter in Ireland, and November 1 is called November Day (Lá Samhna) in Celtic tradition and is thus named in the Irish Calendar, where the month is called Mí na Samhna.

I hope November brings more needed good change for everyone, we have an election next week.
